Breast cancer care combines cancer control and, where appropriate, reconstruction. Cancer treatment comes first; reconstruction is planned around it — not the other way around.
This pathway usually involves a tertiary hospital and several specialties. Korea Breast Care coordinates records and consultation; diagnosis, surgical suitability and the treatment plan belong to the clinical team.
